And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 KJV
We all know that sin is the death of the soul.
No matter how great or how small.
Scripture has made it clear that whether we have been prone to sin or being disobedient, we are also by nature children of wrath.
That we. “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 KJV).
Paul has told us that at one time we were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1 KJV).
That we fulfilled “the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3 KJV).
How we obtain forgiveness from the Father.
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ” (Ephesians 2:4-5 KJV)
By His grace we are saved (Ephesians 2:5 KJV).
He “raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6 KJV).
It is good to know that our Father has an eternal love for us.
That through His love we obtain mercy.
That His mercy is a rich mercy.
His love can change us from sinners to saints.
His Saving Grace in the soul is a new life in the soul.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that every converted sinner is a saved sinner. One that has been delivered from sin and wrath. We have no excuse for not seeking Your grace. The free grace that comes with faith. The grace that forgives and makes us Your children. That makes us heirs of glory. The free grace that is Your undeserved goodness and favor. All that You do in our lives is to prepare us for the things we face in life. You are always blessing us with the knowledge of Your Wil. With Your Holy Spirit guiding us, a change is revealed in our lives. We want our good conversations and walking steadfast in holiness. Let it bring glory to Your name Savior. Thank You for filling us with Wonderful Love.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
