We all have our moments when we worry about what the future may bring.
How we will pay the bills, fix the car, buy groceries and a host of other things.
It is not hard to get preoccupied with what our future may or may not have in store for us.
What it may do to our lives.
Only so much support can be found in family and friends, because they are going through their own situations too.
Our intentions are good, we are thankful for some of the advice we receive, but we know there is only one way we will ever have peace about our situation.
We must put our future in God’s hands.
Letting the peace that God alone can give, be what we focus on.
He has told us that we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. That we are to trust in Him and say “Father, I will obey” (Romans 8:15).
God’s Spirit is always witnessing with our spirits.
It is up to us to listen and by His speaking find peace in our souls.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we don’t know what the future holds. The fears or troubles we might face. What we do know is that what it does hold, we can trust that You will be there for us. Because by our faith in You we will survive. Because You hold our future in Your hands. You always know what is ahead. Thank You.
