Chain Reaction

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.  1 Peter 2:23 KJV

We all have had moments where we get frustrated.  Our frustrations are easily passed along to others we come in contact with.

This contact changes their whole atmosphere. Causing them to pass on their frustration.

The frustration continues to passed on from person to person.

A chain reaction that needs to be stopped before it starts, before it becomes an even more crucial act, resulting in an abusive or angrily insulting manner.

We all try to justify our reasons for frustration, but need to take a step back, take a deep breath, and not lash out on anybody.

Hard to do, but can be done.

It can be done, because Knowing God’s will for our lives, remembering the example Jesus set before us, and that the Holy Spirit is there foo, show us that the chain reaction can start and stop with us.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, frustration comes to us in many ways.  Help us to know how to let it stop with us and not to pass it on to others we come in contact with. Let us commit it all to You. No more chain reactions.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
