Complete

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:10 KJV

I have always loved to do jigsaw puzzles.

Doing them requires the assembling of oddly shaped, interlocking, colorful pieces and, depending on the puzzle, can have quite a few pieces.

It is said that doing puzzles is a way to improve on your visual-spatial thinking.

This is our ability to perceive the visual information in the environment, to represent it internally, to integrate it with other senses and experiences, to derive meaning and understanding, and to perform manipulations and transformations on those perceptions.

To me this meant, to look at the pieces, kinda organize them based on what I see, in shapes, colors, and patterns.

Once situated, you can begin to put it together and adjust them as needed to connect the pieces properly.

Once completed, it produces a picture or a  pattern.  Usually something, as many would say, that is pleasing to the eyes.

That’s what life can be like, a jigsaw puzzle.

Piece by piece, we have to visualize what is going on in our lives, where we need to be and how to get there, so that in the end we are pleased with the outcome.

Once we begin to put all the pieces together, we find that we are trying to do things that just don’t fall into place.

No matter how much we try to maneuver things, it just doesn’t work.

It is not until we realize the picture or pattern will never be complete until we let Jesus in our lives and begin to live accordingly.

It is only by our faith in Him that all the pieces come together. Letting the Word be the ultimate pattern that we follow so all the pieces are put into place the right way.

Then, and only then, will we have everything we need for our salvation.

Our  lives will then be complete.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, there are many things we have to deal with that can be very puzzling. Help us to realize that we are not alone, that you are there to help us through it all.  Our lives are complete when we follow Your Word.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
