Today’s Reading: Philippians 1:1-7
Today’s Verse: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 KJV
There is still work to be done in each of our lives. God is not finished with us yet.
He is working on our feet, so we can walk straight. He is working on our hearts to keep us pure. He is holding our hands so He can lead and teach us how to endure.
We all know when we are going through things and times are tough, we get frustrated. Those are the times we must remind ourselves that God is not finished with us yet.
He guides our salvation and spiritual growth. He is faithful to complete a sanctifying work within us until Christ returns.
It is an ongoing process of salvation and sanctification. He is daily molding our hearts, our minds and souls to be mor like Christ.
He has guaranteed that He will not abandon His work in us. That He will be with us through our struggles and failures.
That was the encouragement that Paul gave the Philippian church. It was a message of hope, joy and encouragement. One that told them to persevere in faith.
It was a comforting reminder that God is actively working in our lives. He wants us to remain holy. He wants us to be prepared for the final day of Christ’s return.
So, if you ever feel like giving up and feel like you have had enough. You feel like giving up the fight. Let Philippians 1:6 KJV encourage you.
Do not give up. Do not give in. You will be victorious in the end.
Trust in God, He will see you through.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know that things in life can bring us down. We are thankful to know that our Father has a plan for our lives. One that will always give us the wisdom to make it through any battle we face. We will not give up. We will not give in. We will trust Him because He is always true to His Word. He has proven Himself over and over again. He is not through with us yet. We have more work to do. Thank You for not being through with us yet.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
