Due Diligence

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  2 Peter 3:9 KJV

Thinking before we act makes all the difference towards the outcome.

Just because something does not appear to be happening like we want, doesn’t mean the process is wrong.

We must take the time to look at what is happening and make sure we are doing things correctly.

Due diligence is the key.

A process by which one examines the details of a transaction to make sure it’s legal or correct.

A process that may require some time to review.

Giving all those involved the ability to review the facts, make the necessary changes and make a final decision.

That is what the Lord is doing with us.

He has not forgotten the promises He gave us in the Word.

He is allowing us time to review what is being required and adjust our lives accordingly.

A chance to repent of our sins and help others to do the same.

Time we can use to bring glory to God, advance in knowledge and exercise our faith.

This type of due diligence is a blessing that makes the desired final judgement worth waiting for.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, although some may feel Your coming is slow, we know that we must show due diligence.  Adhering all the more to the Word.  Always reviewing our actions. Understanding that we have to give an account for all our actions in the end.  Whether they are good or bad. Realizing that You are not slow to act, but giving us the time to get things right. Thank You!

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
