Effective Instructions

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.  1 Thessalonians 4:11 KJV

It is said that the most effective instruction includes four main components.

It is Teacher Directed.  The teacher knows what they want the students to know and be able to do.

They give Guided Instruction.  The teacher and students work together.

There is Collaborative Learning.  The students talk with each other; express their thoughts or ideas.

And there is the ability to do Independent Learning. The students can apply knowledge learned to their unique situations.

When we lean and depend on God, we are afforded “Effective Instructions.”

The teaching of the Spirit exceeds the teachings of men.

The Lord knows what the Father desires for our lives and wants us to be able to accomplish them.

We are the students, the Bible is our Book of Instructions and Jesus is our Teacher.  Guiding us through it all.

This verse is just one of the examples the Lord uses to show the many ways that Satan is trying to bring troubles to our lives.

Paul is teaching us that we must study to be quiet because it is the most desirable way to handle things.

To have a calm and quiet temper.

To remain steadfast in the Word, so that nothing takes us from the work and duty of our particular callings, but teaches us to be diligent all the more.

Our testimonies express our thoughts and let others know how the Lord’s teachings have kept us where we need to be.

Thank God for effective instructions. The more we learn, the more we can apply the knowledge to any situation we find ourselves in.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we are thankful for the effective instructions we receive.  May we continue to learn and apply all of it in our lives.  Being able to testify to others in an effort to help them learn and grow too.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
