Empower Your Life: God’s Powerful Word Will Do It

Today’s Reading: Hebrews 4:11-16

Today’s Verse: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 KJV

Communication is the means by which we convey information, ideas, or feelings.

It is essential for building relationships. It requires active participation. It is not a one-way street.

Both the sender and receiver play active roles in the process.

In our spiritual lives, God is Sender.

He is powerful in the field of communication.

As believers, we are the receivers.

God will always try to tell us something. How we receive it makes a world of difference.

Today’s verse highlights that there is power in God’s Word. His Word is the source of truth and guidance.

It gives us the ability to see and recognize things. To get a clear understanding of how to handle them.

We take an interest regarding judgment. We gain the ability to determine what is true or beneficial for our lives from what is not.

It reveals God’s will.

We are His sheep. He desires that we hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27 KJV).

God is speaking to us, but are we really listening? Are we really following Him?

He knows all about our struggles. He cares about everything concerning us. He desires that we follow His leading.

That is why He sent Jesus as a Guide.

If it had not been for the Lord by our side, where would we be?

The Bible is our source of information.

The Holy Spirit helps to guide us.

Prayer is our way to seek God’s guidance.

The Word tells us to call on Him. He will show us great and mighty things (Jeremiah 33:3 KJV).

Our communication with God is a powerful thing.

His Spirit will always guide us and help us understand His will.

May we never forget: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 KJV).

We all want our names to be found in the Lamb’s Book of Life. To be that one who trusted in the Word and received the salvation of the Lord. To be the none granted access to the New Jerusalem and eternal life with God.

It is up to each of us to be obedient and follow His lead.

He always wants what is best for us.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we know You only desire what is best for us. You care about us. That is why we must daily read the Bible. Your Word has the power to convince. It has the power to convert. It has the power to comfort. We just need to obey it. Help us to get better about standing on Your Word. To stand on Your promises. Salvation and eternal life. Both were made possible because of the Lord’s loving sacrifice. Let us hold fast to the doctrines of Christian faith. Doing everything according to Your Word.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
