Life puts us in positions where we have to try to solve difficult problems.
To make difficult decisions.
We have to fight off any opposing tendencies or forces that try to sway us.
It can be a hard struggle for our human nature, as well as. our spiritual nature.
What we have to remember, because the Lord has told us, these things are not our struggle or fight.
The struggle or fight is against the evil powers that the devil is trying to threaten us with.
The power of sin and evil found throughout the world.
An evil that is committed consciously and of free will.
All of this being the devils attempt to assault and take away from us the things that the Lord has provided for us through the Word.
The things that belong to our souls, human and spiritual beings.
Satan labours to deface the heavenly image in our hearts.
These are the times when we, as Christians, are to put on our spiritual armour . The Word.
The Spiritual strength and courage needed in the fight against the enemies of our spirits and souls.
The Word, the Bible, has all the Spiritual gear we need to fight any battle.
By God’s grace, when we read and adhere to It, we will not to yield to Satan.
Satan is defeated.
God is glorified.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the righteousness of Christ, imputed to us. It is our breastplate against the arrows of Divine wrath. Thankful for the righteousness of Christ implanted in us. Giving us the power to resist Satan, causing him to go away and leave us alone. Remembering that our prayers are what fastens all the other parts of our Christian armour. Fortifying our hearts against all attacks. Thank You Savior.
