Fantastic Harvest – Greatest When We Do Well in Life

Today’s Reading: Galatians 6:6-11

Today’s Verses: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9 KJV)

Harvest is the process or period of gathering in crops.

It is a time of year when crops are ripe and ready to be gathered.

It can be one that is plentiful. It can be one that is poor because things did not grow as well as expected.

In either case, the dedicated person who maintains the land will continue to plant and gather the harvest for years to come.

Appreciating what they did reap.

As believers, we all know that we have a mission to accomplish on behalf of the Lord.

Things will not always go as we had planned. Times when we want to give up on ministering to others.

The Lord gave us a Word of encouragement in Galatians 6:9 KJV.

It says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

We are not to grow weary in doing good. Because in due time, a harvest will be reaped if we do not give up.

We are to continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulties. Even when we do not have a feeling it will not be successful.
The path He has ordained for our lives will be challenging. That is where our faithfulness and persistence will ultimately lead to a positive outcome.

This verse is our reminder that good deeds are not in vain.

The Father has a great reward for those who continue to act righteously.

Maintain your commitment to doing good works.

Trusting that all your efforts will eventually bear fruit.

Never forgetting He has told us, “For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we are to show kindness towards all men. Unbelievers and believers. It does not matter about our situation. You told us Jesus is the “Lord of the harvest.” That, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” Your Word still holds true. We want to be one of the laborers sent into His harvest. Helping to plant the seeds of righteousness. Bringing others to Him. Taking care to do good throughout our lifetime. Knowing that, “In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Blessings are ours now and when You call us home. Thank You Father. We want to be obedient to Your calling.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
