The world is full of wickedness in all forms.
We read about it in newspapers, We see it on television newscasts. We hear it on the radio. Podcasts, one of the newest ways to hear pre-recorded discussions, are also available.
We are tired of all the bad news, trouble and grief. Especially that which was totally avoidable.
Depending on our situation, we may feel that the Lord is not with us, making it hard to keep from wanting to avenge ourselves.
That’s how David was feeling.
He complained to the Lord about all the wickedness he was witnessing.
The Lord reminds us, as He did David, that He is watching and sees all.
That the wicked does not know Him. Chooses to not abide by the Word.
He has and will avenge all wickedness, injustices and sin.
God is still on the throne and those who think they can continue to go against the Word, shall find His justice will prevail.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know that there are those who are not going to live according to the Word. Help us to remain rooted in It, so we don’t find ourselves in the same place that they are in. That we will handle things correctly. We know that You will avenge it all, in Your time.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
