Great Things – This is Found Through Prayer and Faith

Today’s Reading: Romans 28:28-31

Today’s Verses: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV

We all have our way of doing things.

The way we do them often results in ways not pleasing to us. Especially since we tried to do things on our own.

That is where prayer and faith should be our major resources. They are our best path in making positive things happen.

God is always turning things around for use. Demonstrating His power to bring good out of our difficult situations. He wants to restore that which seems lost.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 KJV).

This is just one verse that speaks to the fact of God working all things. Even difficult or painful experiences. That He is working it for the benefit of those who love Hin. To those who are a part of His plan.

The “good” in this verse often refers to us being conformed to the image of Christ and receiving eternal rewards.

Overall, this verse provides comfort and reassurance that even in challenging times God is working for the believer’s ultimate good.

Other verses that highlight God’s power to turn things around include:

Genesis 50:20 KJV – “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

Joseph had endured hardship and betrayal. He declared that what others intended for evil, God intended for good. It tells of God’s ability to redeem even the most difficult circumstances.

Zephaniah 3:9, 3:20 KJV – (9) “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.” (20) “At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.”

God is always turning things around for His people. He is always restoring us and bringing us back to Him.

Psalms 30:5 KJV – “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

This speaks of how God’s anger is brief. That His favor is lasting. How even in moments of distress His ultimate purpose is our restoration.

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God has a plan to prosper His people. Giving us hope and a future.

Isaiah 43:19 KJV – “Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.”

God is doing a new thing in our lives. Making a way in the wilderness.

These are just some Scriptures that provides assurance that God can help us in difficult situations. That He will work things out for our good. He will bring about a positive change in the lives of those who trust in Him.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).

The way God works is perfect. He is for us. He wants the best for our lives.

The more we keep in His love, we will with holy boldness defeat the powers of darkness.
