Greatest Outcomes: When You Really Focus on the Provider

Read: Philippians 4:10-19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 KJV

“There is more where that came from!”

A phrase that means a particular resource or supply is not limited.

That there is enough to go beyond what has already been used, seen or experienced.

A phrase that has great meaning when it comes to the goodness of God.

It is good to know that the blessings He has for us will never run out.

To know that the grace and power of God has no boundaries.

To remember that in our lowest states we can find comfort in Him.

And in our prosperous condition not to be proud or worldly.

Thinking it is because of something we did.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus reminding them of this.

He had previously told them that God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20 KJV).

But some had a challenging time with receiving this.

He knew they needed to be reminded that “God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 KJV).

He was expressing what it meant to find peace in every condition of life.

To this day, we all need to remember this lesson.

Nothing has changed.

Our Father still continues to supply all our needs.

He wants only the best for us.

Through Christ we have grace to do what is good.

To do all things for Him and to His glory.

It is a wonderful feeling to know that our needs will never drain His supply.

And that no matter how often we draw upon heaven’s resources, they will never run out.

To be able to do excellent work in His name.

As we thank Him for His never-ending provisions, we can trust Him for His future supply.

Always remembering, “There is more where that came from!”

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, the love You have for us is not limited. The grace You show cannot be measured. Your power has no boundaries. We are blessed by the riches we find in the Savior. How He continues to inspire our lives. Thank You that there is no end to all that You gave and continue to give us. May we never take for granted all that You have done and will do for us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
