Today’s Reading: Matthew 11:25-30
Today’s Verse: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 KJV
Heavy loads. We all have our moments when we feel like that is what we are carrying.
They are loads of fear, worry, anxiety, and many other life challenges.
When we get to the point, we have had all we can take, hold on, help is on the way.
We need to take the time to relax in the Lord.
Take the time to pray and tell Him all about our struggles.
We can put down all our burdens when we take them to the Lord in prayer.
Jesus has told us, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 KJV).
But many times we still find ourselves carrying the burdens instead of offering them up to the Savior.
The Savior cares for each of us.
The apostle Peter has even told us to, “Cast all your anxiety upon him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7 NIV).
The more we learn to trust in the Lord, we can rest and relax.
Whatever the burden that is weighing on us.
Whatever the burden is that is causing us to be weary.
Give it to the Lord.
He has an open invitation for all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him.
He wants us to let Him carry them.
Trust in the Lord and let Him carry your heavy load.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know the Scriptures have told us that we can cast our cares on You. That You will help us through anything we face. When a heavy load is upon us, give us the wisdom to remember what You have told us. That through prayer we can bring all things to You. To let You carry them. Thank You for always being there for us. For being our burden-bearer.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
