Today’s Reading:1 Peter 3:8-16
Today’s Verse: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers. Deuteronomy 6:23 KJV
Purpose and Planning.
“Purpose” is the underlying reason or motivation for us to do something.
It represents the “why” behind something.
A “plan” is the detailed set of steps that outlines how to achieve the goal.
It is essentially the “how” in which we will execute the purpose.
In simple terms, purpose is the overall intention, while a plan is the specific roadmap you will use to reach it.
That is where our trust in God comes in.
He has a purpose and a plan for our lives.
It is up to each of us to determine what our values and beliefs are.
What the desired outcome is that we hope to achieve.
Pray about it and wait for an answer from the Father.
Then follow the detailed strategies and actions that the Father has designed for us to reach the goals He has for us.
God’s purpose and His power go together.
Nothing in our lives come to pass by chance.
They are all devised and designed by our loving Father.
We know we will have our moments when we try to do things on our own.
They do not always end in the way we hoped they would.
Those are the times we must step back and remember to keep all things in the Father’s hands.
Never forgetting His power and purpose go hand in hand.
In the end being able to say, “he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers” (Deuteronomy 6:23 KJV).
Thanking Him for all the love and wisdom He has given us.
All of which we can pass on to our children.
So they understand that the knowledge of the spirituality and excellency of the holy law of God, is suited to show sinful man his need of a Saviour.
This will help them prepare their hearts to welcome free salvation.
To realize the purpose and plan He has for their lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, there is a purpose and plan for all our lives. We already know what we should be doing. It is up to us to follow it. Knowing all things will come to pass as we live according to the Word. Never forgetting that as we follow Your lead, deliverance will always be ours. We will triumph over evil. We will be living testimonies to our children. Showing them that Your purpose, power, and plans will always succeed. Thank You for always being there for us.
