Read: Psalms 18:1-19
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalms 18:2 KJV
There will always be a time when it seems like an earthquake may be hitting our lives.
Things are happening that can cause us great fear.
Causing us to wonder will there ever be an ending to all the pain and suffering we feel.
It is good to know that there is a way we can remain calm.
To have great moments of peace through it all.
So much so, that the people around us wonder how we are able to do it.
When asked, our answer to them will be that we have great faith in the Savior.
That we are believers in Him like David.
Remembering how when he was going through, He acknowledged the Father’s ability to provide.
How his love and faith in God helped him to be triumphant.
Because he knew that God was his Rock and Refuge,
Giving him the confidence to call upon Him at any given time.
There will always be a time when something seems hard to bear.
We who are children of God and trusting in the Lord can experience a deep peace as we pray and relax in His everlasting arms.
And, like David, we too can say, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” (Psalms 18:2 KJV).
Rejoicing in the deliverances God has brought us through.
Knowing that our Savior is strong enough to bring us through anything we face in our lifetime.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that prayer is best to correspond with You. That it is our way to bring the things that are troubling us to Your attention. Because we know that through it, we can find the comfort and courage to face the things of this world. That we are always in Your all-powerful hands. You have control over everything. And we can always count on You to protect us, no matter what happens. Thank You for always reminding us that when the world around us is falling, You are the Solid Rock on which we can always stand.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
