Heartfelt Love

That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. Romans 9:2 KJV

There are many in the world that wish they could do so much more for those in need.

To be able to encourage those who don’t realize there is so much more to be gained if they would only strive to obtain it.

For those who are in Christ, it can be heartbreaking to read this passage (ver. 1-5) and realize that they know someone who is separated from God and blind to all that they are missing.

That there is someone who has heard the Word, but still hasn’t given their lives to Christ.

The apostle had a great concern that his countrymen were strangers to the gospel.

Just like he did, we can express our love for those around us, known and unknown, asking Christ for guidance on how to approach them.

Asking the Holy Ghost to help direct and enlighten us to witness to all of the blessings the Lord  is willing and able to bestow on us all.

By being a living testimony of how far we have come because we believed in Christ and the Word.

Constantly praying that whoever we meet, or talk too, will receive the Word and give their lives to Christ.

We can be the prime example of what the Lord can do, if we just believe.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, just like the apostle we have a great heaviness and continual sorrow in our hearts.  We know the love You have for us and pray that those who don’t will come to know of it.  Come to know of it because we vow to spread the Word and encourage them to come unto You. Thank You for allowing us to be living testimonies of Your love and faithfulness.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
