Today’s Reading: Hebrews 4:12-16
Today’s Verse: Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:13 KJV
Nothing is hidden in the world today.
Cameras can be found all over the world.
Capturing daily images from a birthday party to criminal activities.
But mankind does not see everything.
Our Father is the only One who sees it all.
He sits high and looks low.
In this passage of Hebrews, the Apostle Paul talks about our relationship with God.
How we experience a far greater level of exposure and accountability.
Paul has told us, His Word “is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 KJV).
And there is no “creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:14 KJV).
The Father sees it all. Nothing is hidden from Him.
We have to give an account to Him for all our actions.
We all have sinned and fallen short at some point in our lives.
We have made mistakes that we wish we could take back.
It is good to know that He has given us a way to make a change in our lives.
The Savior paved the way. Making it possible for us to be forgiven.
Because the Savior experienced our weaknesses and temptations, bud did not sin, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence.
Asking to be forgiven.
Always able to receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:15-16 KJV).
We still have time to change our ways. To make better decisions.
Let us make every effort to hold fast to the doctrines of Christian faith in our heads.
Holding on to its enlivening principle in our hearts.
Professing and being subject to it in our lives.
Never forgetting that no part of our lives is hidden from God’s grace and power.
The sooner we make the choice to change our ways, the greater our blessings are.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You see it all. Everything that mankind tries to do here on earth. We know that nothing is greater than Your love. Nothing is stronger than Your mercy and grace. All power is in Your hands. Help to make ne necessary changes in our lives. We want to live our lives according to Your will and Your way.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
