His Surrender: Monumental Results for Everlasting Life

Today’s Reading: John 3:13-19 / John 11:17-27

Today’s Verse: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

The extension of life.

Something that scientists continue to experiment with.

They hope to find a way to extend the human lifespan,

The project has good intentions but is a little late.

God has already completed it.

His findings have already been published.

And there is no way for anyone to change it.

The Word tells us that, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).

Long life may some receive.

There are many articles that talk about the many who have lived a long life.

Some 125 years old or older.

But “everyone will die someday” (Ecclesiastes 9:2 NIRV)

Our physical bodies may die but we have this blessed assurance.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die” (John 11:25-26 KJV),

All we have to do is put our trust in Him and live according to the Word.

The love of God has been with us even before we were born.

He sent Jesus to pave the way to eternal life.

He wants us to live with Him forever.

This gift of everlasting life is for all to receive.

The salvation that Jesus offered.

His death on the cross replaced the dark door of death.

Replacing it with the shining gate of life.

The shining gates of everlasting life.

Salvation is ours for the asking.

It is available for all to receive.

He wants us to live with Him forever.

From this moment on let us live a life that is pleasing to Him.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we believe that You died for our sins and rose from the dead. Paving the way for us to receive eternal life. You are our Lord and Savior. The One we desire to follow. Thank You for replacing the dark door of sin and death. Replacing it with a shining gate of life. An eternal life filled with blessings. We desire to live a life that is pleasing to You.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
