Today’s Reading: Ephesians 2:7-13
Today’s Verse: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 KJV
Workmanship is defined as a human attribute. It relates to our knowledge and skills at performing a task.
We want the things we create to have great meaning.
In the Bible it refers to God’s creative and international design of believers. It highlights our status as a masterpiece created by God.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV).
God formed each of us with a specific purpose. He designed us to do good works. Works that demonstrate His power and love. Works that reflect His glory and goodness.
His work on us is not a one-time event. It is an ongoing process. Daily He is shaping and molding us into the believer we are meant to be.
We all know that “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalms 37:23 KJV).
The more He works on us we will put our trust in Him. He will direct and establish our ways.
It was His purpose to which He prepared us.
That is why He blessed us with the knowledge of His will. His Holy Spirit continues to produce a change in us. Making it where we can glorify God by our good conversations and determination to live a holy life.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, the Word tells us that we are Your workmanship. That we are created in Christ Jesus for good works. That You prepared us beforehand. Making it where we should walk in them. The more we read the Word, we can find the inspiration and guidance we need. Our faith and values will continue to grow. Thank You for daily working on us. We want to do everything the is pleasing in Your sight.
