Holy Spirit: In Life, Our Most Powerful, Ever-Present Teacher

Read: 1 John 2:24-27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27 KJV

Many of us have someone in our lives that we have spoken a Word of the Lord too.

It was a good feeling.

Some are still around us, while there are others that have moved, and we wonder how they are doing.

If they are still learning about what the Father has in store for their lives.

There may be a time when we see them again.

Happy to hear that they have grown spiritually.

How they had recognized the calling in their life.

What a great reminder that Spirit of God is always present to help even when we are not around to encourage one another.

As we journey on this Christian walk, we want to be there for one another.

But we know we cannot always be there.

That is why we have to remember what the God has told us in the Word.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him” (1 John 2:27 KJV).

The more we read and study the Bible, the Holy Spirit will always make the truth of God’s Word known.

That is why we are always encouraged to stand fast in faith and holiness.

Paul even acknowledged to the Corinthians that, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV).

The Spirit dwelling within them, was given so the truth would be made clear to them.

Rest assured that no matter our degree of education, the profound knowledge of God can always be received when we allow the Spirit to teach us.

Maybe you know someone who now lives miles away and you are concerned about their spiritual growth.

Keep them in prayer.

Praying that they willing heart to allow God’s Spirit to teach them and give them “the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV).

That they believe and receive all that the Holy Spirit is teaching them.
