Inevitable

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

On many jobs employers or supervisors will meet with employees and give them a review of their work performance.

It can be a time of nervousness.

A questioning of what we think they are going to say.  Is it good or is it bad? Will we be staying or will we be going?  Will I be able to make the necessary changes?

In the end they will determine if you get a “Well done” or a “You’re done?”

This review is important, but the review of the Lord is, by far, more significant.

He has been conducting reviews and advising us of things along the way, but it is up to us to make the changes and stay on track.

In the end, when this life is over, we have to stand before the Lord and get a final review.

We will no longer have a chance to make any changes.

The final determination will be, “Well done” or a “You’re done?”

That is why we as followers of the Lord must continue to serve Him completely,.

Adhering to the Word in all that we do, so we can hear Him say, “Well done.”

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, may we heed to Your Word and the instructions You give us on the things we need to change or the missions You assign to us. We know the day will come when we have to stand before You. We pray that we have read, listened, and have done the work according to Your instructions so at the final judgement call we hear You say, “Well Done”.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
