Instructions: This is Why Following Them Really is Important

Read: Exodus 40:16-34

Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he. Exodus 40:16 KJV

I love jigsaw puzzles.

I used to do the actual pieces, now I play them on my tablet.

The picture on the box or screen shows us what the end result should be.

I love a challenge so most times I choose the mystery puzzle.

Taking the time to figure it out piece by piece.

Waiting to see what the final picture will be.

But we know that through it all we must have patience.

Knowing that all will be well in the end.

Realizing that there will be times when we really do need to follow directions.

In Exodus Moses was facing a somewhat similar task.

Back in the days of Israel wandering in the wilderness, he was tasked with putting together a structure.

This structure would be made with a variety of parts.

In Exodus Chapters 38-39 KJV, we see how the people gathered a vast number of materials to help build the tabernacle.

Then how the Lord instructed Moses on how to put it together (Exodus 40 KJV).

The structure was to be as God wanted it.

So it would bring glory to Him.

But it would only be accomplished if Moses followed His detailed plans

“Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he” (Exodus 40:16 KJV).

With our lives, as with the Tabernacle, the only right way to build is to follow the Father’s plan.

To let Him direct our steps.

He has a plan already laid out for our lives.

All we have to do is follow His instructions as outlined in the Bible.

When we do, He will always help us to put the pieces of our lives together.

He has a plan that shows a life full of love and prosperity.

One where we will always bring glory and honor to His Name.

Take the time to Google and see how magnificent the Tabernacle looked.

It is amazing.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that life can sometimes feel like a puzzle. Times when we are struggling to put all the pieces together. And we know we need help. Those are the times we have to remember that the Bible is the Book that will always help us to put all the pieces together in the right way. The Words of Scripture will always protect, correct, and direct our lives. They will always give us encouragement, hope, and cheer. You for always there to help us put the pieces of our lives together. Always knowing that in the end we will see a wonderful picture. It will be one of us singing and giving You praise. All in a Heavenly Tabernacle. Thank You for being there for us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
