Today’s Reading: Psalms 126
Today’s Verse: The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Psalms 126:3 KJV
We all can have something that we wrestle with in life.
But as we pray, and wait for an answer, let us remember to celebrate the victories we have had in our lives.
Reminding ourselves that “Today was a good day.” That “Better days are coming.”
Our reminder to be thankful for God’s help with the smallest of things.
“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (Psalms 126:3 KJV).
Jesus had compassion for us on the cross.
It is a great verse to take to heart.
Psalms 126:3 is just one of the many Scriptures that is a reminder of God’s tender mercies and what they ultimately mean for us.
No matter what we face on any given day, nothing can change the truth that come what may, the Savior has already shown us unfavorable kindness.
Our reason to “give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” Psalms 136:1 KJV).
It is good for us to acknowledge and rejoice in how God’s deliverances abound in our lives.
We are redeemed from the wraths to come. From the power of sin and Satan.
Because of His love for us, we have already lived through some challenging times.
May we always keep in mind that God is faithful.
As long as we live, we can face some troubling times.
We may not know how the Father will get us through them, but we know His kindness to us in the past will help us trust that He will.
Something to be valued in our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, as long as we live, we will face some troubling times. Ones that try to wight us down. Let us remember those are times to reflect on all the remarkable things You have done and will do in our lives. Let them fill us with joy and defeat the things that try to bring us down. Tenders are Your mercies, Great is Your love. Thank You for being our Master, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend. We are lost without You.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
