Know How Unseen Helpers Bring Great Hope to Us

Read: Hebrews 1:4-14 / Psalms 34:1-7

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 1:14 KJV

“Don’t worry, I’ve got your back” is a phrase many of us have heard.

It means that the person saying it is ready to protect or defend the person they are in conversation with.

There is great comfort in knowing we are not alone.

But there will be some situations that we face and feel that we are alone.

But we are not alone.

There is an even greater source of help.

One that is there for us when facing any physical or spiritual crisis.

As God’s children we know He is always there to take care of us.

His Angels are always encamped all around us.

They are “ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” (Hebrews 1:14 KJV).

They respond to every command of God.

All of God’s children are “heirs of salvation.”

Powerful protection and help is what the angels provide to us, His children.

We even see where they were with Jesus when He said unto the Father, “if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42 KJV).

The Father heard His cry, “and there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him” (Luke 22:43 KJV).

We may never have seen an angel, but we know that “the angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them” (Psalms 34:7 KJV).

An Angel’s work is done quietly, drawing no attention to themselves so we do not loose site of where our true help is coming from.

We know that all our help come from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Psalms 121:2 KJV).

The Angels of God are always there to protect us.

They are not trying to take credit for all they are doing.

They are just doing the work the Master has called them to do.

The knowledge of this strengthens our trust in the God we faithfully serve.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that angels are placed in our lives as heavenly messengers. Sent to minister to us. To help protect and keep us from the powers of sin. Under the guidance of the Savior and the Holy Spirit they are a comfort to our souls. Because of this, it possible for us to continue to serve the Kingdom. To faithfully serve You. We know with You we will always be given the strength we need to finish our goals. Thank You for encamping angels all around us.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
