Treasures are things we hold dear to our hearts.
They can be family or friends we love, appreciate, cherish and devote our lives too.
They can be material things that have a monetary or sentimental value.
Things that humanity treasures.
There is one treasure that all our hearts should desire and put first.
Our heartfelt Spiritual treasures.
The Lord and His Word.
He wants and should be the main treasure that we hold dear to our hearts.
Showing that we know the value of living according to the Word.
The main treasure with the most value.
Remembering that in the end, all that we have on the earth will remain or perish, but that which we obtain from the Lord is eternal.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know that we have been blessed with people and things that we treasure. That we have love and sentimental feelings for. But You are the greatest treasure we could ever have. A treasure that is to be first in our lives. We pray that this is where our hearts remain. That others will open their hearts and seek these treasures too. Obtaining Your love and the treasure of eternal life before it’s too late.
