Knowledge: Never Compromise When You Seek This Wonderful Blessing

Today’s Reading: Psalms 32

Today’s Verse: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalms 32:8 KJV

Understanding the difference between “teach” and “instruct” is important.

You can teach almost anything.

From concepts or ideas.

To theories or history.

But when you instruct someone, you are giving them a set of tools to do something specific.

Be careful.

Not everyone is a skilled instructor and teacher.

Listening to the wrong things will only bring more sin into our lives.

As believers we know that the greatest instructor is the Lord.

God sent Him to be our teacher and instructor.

He is our constant guidance counselor and personal caregiver.

He encourages us to actively seek His wisdom.

Knowing that He has the answer regarding all the decisions we make in life.

Regarding all the challenges we face.

We can always trust that He will lead us with a watchful and loving eye.

It is good to know that He is there even when our paths seem unclear.

In this passage, David is giving a word of caution to sinners.

He knew that the way of sin would certainly end in sorrow.

Through his prayers, he acknowledged his sins and the need for guidance.

He then waited for a response from the Savior.

He received a word of comfort.

One that can be received by us all.

The Lord said: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8 KJV).

May we never forget that the Savior is concerned about our lives.

About whom we are letting have an influence in our lives.

He will always have a desire to instruct and teach us.

Always wanting us to take the right path in life.

Like David, we must approach Him with a humble attitude.

We must be willing to listen and learn from His wisdom.

To recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us.

Always remaining open to the encouragement that He gives.

Divine wisdom and strength is our goals.

Wisdom comes through our prayers.

Our continued studying of the Bible.

Always receive the Word from a trusted spiritual leader.

Our Heavenly Father is loving.

That is why He supplies all our needs.

He wants to guide us through life’s journey.

Let us humbly seek His counsel.

Let us trust His loving eye to guide us.

It will help us to live our lives with confidence and peace.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know that we need to seek instructions and guidance from You. That we should do it daily. Remembering that Your guidance is not just about knowing the right thing to do. It is also about our understanding the deeper meaning behind the choices we make. It will always give us the wisdom needed to survive. Thank You for Your loving eye. For the constant attention and care You give. How You ae there even in our most difficult moments. It is a great comfort to know that You are always watching over us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
