Today’s Reading: Titus 3:1-8
Today’s Verse: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Titus 3:5 KJV
The concept of change involves moving from one state or form to another.
Understanding and managing change effectively requires recognizing the causes.
Determining what benefits may come with this change.
The choice we make will always have a strong effect on our lives.
We want our lives to be ones where we make a positive difference in the world around us.
But we will need help. The right kind of help.
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5 KJV).
We are lost without the help we receive from the Lord.
There is a wonderful change that comes over our lives when we recognize that through Christ, our change has already been granted.
We just have to acknowledge it.
Not only are we forgiven but we are renewed.
We are delivered out of our miserable condition.
Delivered by the mercy and free grace of God. By the merit and sufferings of Christ. By the working of His Spirit in our lives.
Our sins, which can be many, are all washed away.
We have a new beginning. Each day that we follow His lead we learn more about walking according to His ways.
Thankful that even when falling short of His glory, there is still a chance for forgiveness.
That He does not give up on us and continues to have an influence on our lives.
He continues to work in us to make us more like Him.
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5?25 KJV).
Eternal life is set before us.
Never forgetting that it is not by works of righteousness which we have done that we have gotten here.
That it is according to His mercy He saved us.
The Holy Spirit works faithfully in us. Always there to lead and guide us.
Showing us that we are never alone.
Our strength in the times of storm.
Giving us hope in life.
Be the one whose life is filled with faith, hope and joy.
That is His desire for our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are lost without You in our lives. Each day we have to make an effort to live according to the Word. Not allowing the things of the world to cause us to miss the blessings You have for us. You are the fountain from which the Holy Spirit flows Teaching, regenerating, and saving us. Your fallen creatures. What a wonderful change that comes in our lives. We know it only comes to us through Christ. Through our living according to the Word. Thank You for the love and care You give us.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
