In our conversations with others, we sometimes find ourselves responding before the other person has completed their sentence.
These actions usually makes us miss some facts.
Facts that can help a over-heated situation be resolved, before it gets worse.
In this letter from James, an Apostle, he is advising the people to carefully consider what they do before they do it.
That there are consequences they can face for their actions.
The need for them to have absolute faith and trust in God.
To turn to Him for the help and direction they need.
The same holds true for us.
We are not to be so quick to respond to anything.
That we are to carefully consider what we do before doing it.
Looking at all the consequences we can face for our actions.
Reminding ourselves that what the Apostle wrote still holds true.
We must, and need, to have absolute faith and trust in God.
To turn to Him for the help and direction we need.
That we must continue to take careful consideration of the consequences of our actions.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, let us open our ears and hearts to learn how to handle any situation we face. That we must keep our faith in You. And that we do this by adhering to the Word. Thank You Lord for teaching us to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. A lesson worth learning.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
