Nehemiah 6:9 KJV
There will always be something or someone that tries to hinder what you are trying to do.
The devil is always trying to find a way to frighten us, give us reason to doubt ourselves, and just simply make our lives difficult.
All because we are on the right track.
He wants us to loose all strength and give up on doing what the Lord has designed for our lives.
That’s what Sanballat attempted to do, along with his friends, when he tried to hinder Nehemiah from rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem.
But Nehemiah knew what they were trying to do and no matter what they said or tried to do, he prayed and kept his trust in God.
During our life as a Christian, we are going to have moments of conflict and warfares.
We need to stay prayed up, rooted in the Word and know that the Lord is there to strengthen us and not allow any temptations to take us from that which He has called us to do.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, the devil is always trying to keep us from giving our best, always trying to tempt us to give up and go astray. We thank you for strengthening us, not letting us yield to the temptations, not to give up and go astray, but to continue to be duty bound. Thank you Lord for all Your guidance.
