Mistakes: Opportunities Given That Are More Than We Deserve

Today’s Reading: Psalms 103:6-18

Today’s Verse: He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. Psalms 103:10 NKJV

Better than blessed is what we are.

God knows we will be tempted each day.

He has told us in Matthew 16:18, that there will be forces of evil and death that try to destroy us, but they will not succeed.

That is why each day we have to remind ourselves to remain steadfast in the Word.

In this passage, the Psalmist is reminding us that “[God] has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities” (Psalms 103:10 NKJV).

If God never does anything more than redeem us, He has already done more than we deserve.

“For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him” (Psalms 103:11 NKJV).

One can only imagine where we would be in our lives, if it had not been the sacrifice that Jesus made.

He has opened so many doors for us.

Brand new mercies are seen, over and over again.

He continues to give us every opportunity to live the right way until He calls us home.

His ‘Amazing Grace.” It keeps on blessing us.
God is the strength of our lives.

If He never does anything else for us, He has done enough.

But we know the more we keep Him first in our lives, His love and mercies never end.

Better than blessed is what we are.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, thank You for not dealing with us according to our sins. Thank You for the love and grace that You have shown us. For Jesus dying on the cross. For His paving the way for our forgiveness. It was far beyond what we deserve. May we have the wisdom to continue to live according to the Word. To receive all the blessings You have for our lives. Eternal life with You is our desire. Thank You again for the love and grace You show us. Better than blessed is what we are.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
