New Beginnings: This is Most Powerful Done His Way

Today’s Reading: Isaiah 43:14-21

Today’s Verse: Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 KJV

We all have an opportunity for new beginnings.

This is a good thing.

Many times we struggle with letting go of our past.

Those are the times when we have to stand on the Word.

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26 KJV).

He is telling us to put our trust in His plan and ability to make the impossible possible.

In this passage, God used Isaish to encouraged Jewish captives to think about a new beginning.

God told the captives, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old” (Isaiah 43:18 KJV).

He was telling them to stop dwelling on their punishment. Even on His display of power through the original departure from Egypt.

The Father wanted their attention to be focused on Him.

Focused on the now and how He would give them a new beginning. That He would be bringing them home from Babylon through a new way (Isaiah 43:19 KJV).
No longer letting the past keep them from their blessings.

There will be times when someone will speak a word of encouragement.

Reminding us that with God, a new beginning is possible in our hearts.

His desire is to rescue sinners. To help each of us make a fresh start from the inside out.

He can help us to let go of the past and start trusting in Him.

To bring all believers to glory.

Nothing can compare with His wondrous work of love.

Nothing can compare to His redeeming power.

Our relationship with Him provides a new hope.

It provides us with great wisdom.

He is always ready to do a new thing in our lives.

To offer us a new beginning.

All we have to do is put our trust in Him.
