No Substitutes For Truth

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  John 8:32 KJV

There are many things that we encounter in life.

We seek guidance and receive information.

Taking what we find, or what has been said, to be factual or true.

When we put our trust in God, we find a truth that goes beyond our experiences.

A truth that gives us knowledge.

A spiritual reality that through our daily study and prayer we begin to understand Him better.

We can trust in His teachings.

They are full of truth and encouragement.

Giving us the desire to rely on His promises and obey His commands.

Resisting all the temptations to do evil, or go against the Word.

Remembering that’s why He sent His Son.

The best means to our ends.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6 KJV)

That when we live according to His way, we know the truth.

A truth that frees us from sin.

A truth that brings us to the Father, where we find a pleasing life while here on earth.

An even greater life in Heaven.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that You desire for us to know the truth.  A Spiritual Truth that can only be found in the Word.  Showing us where all our hope and strength comes from. A truth that keeps us from all evil.  Evil that tries to hinder us from living according to Your ways. Thank You Jesus. Our source of freedom and who is the best example of what truth means.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
