Today’s Reading: 2 Corinthians 9:6-15
Today’s Verses: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV
It is another wonderful day that the Father has blessed us to see.
He woke us up this morning and started us on our way. The blood still running warm in our veins.
We are in the land of the living for yet another day.
God is able. God is really good to us. Always acting on behalf of His believers.
It is a blessing to know that He has the ability to provide for us.
He makes sure that we have everything we need. He wants us to live an abundant life.
He provides favors, blessings, and spiritual gifts. Not just for ourselves, but to be generous to others also.
Making us able to participate in good works.
A wealth that comes in many ways and not just a promise of material wealth.
Today’s reading even shows how the Corinthians were to be liberal and cheerful regarding His grace. The apostle even gives thanks to God for His unspeakable gift (2 Corinthians 9:6-15 KJV).
It causes us to ask ourselves, “Can I lose by doing that with which God is pleased?
As His followers, active participation in His work in the world should be our goal.
There are seeds to be sown in our lives. Ones that constantly need to be watered on a daily basis.
God’ grace is one that abounds towards us and in us. Giving us a large increase of spiritual and of temporal good things.
He can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways. Making it where we are ready for anything and everything. Making us more than just ready to do what needs to be done.
God gives not only enough for us. He gives us enough so we may supply the wants of others.
We all should be motivated to have a grateful and willing heart.
Showing we recognize the grace of God.
The God we serve keeps on blessing us. Over and over again.
Evern if He did not do anything else for us, He is worthy of our praise.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we thank You for your abundant grace and provisions. We seek Your guidance in using our blessings for good works. Help us continue to abound in life. To be sufficient in all things. Making it where we have the ability to be a generous and cheerful givers in every good work You have prepared for us. We trust in Your faithfulness to provide for all our needs and to guide us in all our ways. Thank You for always being there for us.
