This Door is the Greatest One to Walk Through

Today’s Reading: John 10:1-10

Today’s Verse: I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9 KJV

Let’s get right to it.

Many who hear the word of Christ, do not understand it. Many because they choose not to.

But throughout the Scriptures the blessed Spirit is making known the blessed Jesus.

In the Bible, “door” is God’s way of helping us. He wants us to recognize that there is a larger life that we are subject to. One that has great meaning.

It represents access, opportunity, protection, and judgement.

It represents the choices we make in our relationship with God. Our choice for salvation or exclusion.

In today’s reading, Jesus refers to Himself as “the door.”

He said, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9 KJV).

He is telling us that He is the way to salvation and eternal life.

Jesus is the door that is showing us the right decisions for our lives.

Thinking hard about the right choices we should make.

Warning us of the results of our decisions. How they will determine our relationship with God and our destiny.

What greater security has the church of God?

Always knowing that the Lord Jesus is between them and all their enemies.

We all should accept this Divine invitation.

He is a door open for passage and communication.

He wants us to open our hearts and let Him in.

Once we do, we can enjoy Divine forgiveness. And we can rest in the protection of the Lord.

Divine Blessings. That is what we want in our lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we know that doors represent entry into God’s presence. A new stage in life. Spiritual experiences that will have great meaning in our lives. May others come to know that, by You, if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. That they will find everything they need in You. Thank You for the peace of mind that comes from knowing You are there. Always watching over us. Keeping us from the dangers we face in life.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
