People all over the world can find themselves in situations where they need some assistance.
It is good to know that there is someone willing to provide this assistance.
God already knows the circumstances we will face in life.
He is willing and able to provide the assistance we needed.
It was shown when He allowed the Lord to sacrifice His life for us.
To let Him be the prime example of what it means to be someone willing to give of themselves.
There are churches and organizations, all over the world, that have set aside days and times to help others in need.
Many of the volunteers do so because they have been in similar situations, where they needed help and was able to get it.
They know what it means to be blessed to have someone set aside time to show them love.
The Lord desires His beloved to be charitable.
Remembering that to be charitable is not always the giving of money.
The time we spend showing someone they are not alone and cared about means a lot.
All our good works are made useful.
Useful because of the great grace and favor that God affords us.
The abundance of spiritual joy increases our hearts in the work and labour of love.
At the heart of giving means more when the giving is from the heart.
Be the one that takes joy in giving up a part of your own time for the benefit of someone else.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, let us be willing to offer service of ourselves and give from the heart. Let our lives truly show how much we honor and love You. You are our prime example of what it means to give.
