Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Isaiah 55:3 KJV

We all like the nice things in life.

But these things, be it fashion, social media or car models, to name a few, are constantly changing.

We can never get complete satisfaction from anything in the here and now, no matter what we do.

In Isaiah we are being given an invitation to come again and again to God.

All are welcome to the blessings of salvation.

In Christ there is enough for all.

Enough for each of us.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6).

Those satisfied with the world, that see no need of Christ, do not thirst.

The world comes short of our expectations, but Christ is successful in meeting our expectations.

When we come to Him, we find wine and milk.

Our wants are beyond number, and in the world, we have nothing to supply all of them.

But my God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Christ and Heaven are ours.

All we must do is listen to what He has told us in the Word, give our lives to Him and our souls will be saved.

Let the things we encounter in the world, help to drive us to Christ, and to seek for satisfaction in Him only.

Just like His love for David is everlasting and faithful, let us forever show gratitude for the same everlasting, faithful love and free grace He has given us.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, by the sure mercies of David, we can understand the Messiah. We know we could never find our way if it was not for Christ being given to be a Leader and a Commander. The One to show us what to do and enable us to do it. Thank You for caring so much about us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
