It is not uncommon for any of us to have difficulty in doing something despite working hard.
We set out to accomplish our goals and something gets in our way.
Causing us to be distressed and depressed.
These are the times we need to remind ourselves that we will reach a positive outcome if we seek God for the wisdom and assistance we need.
Isaiah 40:27-31 is a positive motivator.
He is reminding us that God gives us power when we are faint and increases our strength when we are weak and feel all hope is gone.
No matter our situation, we are to come to Him, in prayer, believing that His love and power will help us make it through.
We are all invited to come to Him for rest to our souls.
An open invitation that says: Whoever will, let him come.
It doesn’t matter who we are or what we have done.
He is there for us no matter the day or the hour.
When we come, trust and believe, we will receive rest.
We will obtain the peace and comfort in our hearts, that our God has promised us.
It should be a comfort to know the Lord is there to give us rest.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, no matter the struggles or spiritual challenges we are facing in life, we know we can find strength in You. May we continue to meditate on the Scriptures, pray and listen to the Words of Wisdom You give us.
