Biblically, marriage has been honored as the divinely blessed union between a man and a woman as ordained by God.
It has always been said that in this union, the male is known as the head of the household and the female his companion.
The union is meant to bring joy, love, help and comfort to one another.
Times can get hard at times but the Lord does not want any of us to become dishonest or betray one another. Nor do something that is dangerous or hazardous.
That’s why God ordained marriage as an inseparable, spiritual union and He wants nothing more than a husband and wife to have a loving companionship until death do they part.
It is possible. My parents were married for 71 years before my father passed.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, may marriage unions remain alive. May husbands and wives find the time to spend with each other. To show their love and appreciation for one another. To seek and grant forgiveness for their wrongs from each other. But most of all to seek forgiveness and guidance from You Lord.
