MAKING TROUBLE

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 2 Thessalonians 3:11 KJV

The mind and the mouths of man can be overly occupied. If it is not engaged in doing good, it will be doing evil.

When someone is being disorderly, they are contributing to a behavior that is not peaceful.

A behavior that accomplishes nothing good.

They are deemed to be a busybody.  One who is a troublemaker, gossiper, lazy, or likes to meddle or pry into someone else’s business.

The Lord warns against this type of behavior.

That we should take care of our own business and not to be a busybody or keep the company of such.

It doesn’t mean you can’t talk to anybody or about a situation but to be mindful of the conversation.

We are to walk in love, treat each other the way we want to be treated and live according to the Word in all things.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, bridle our tongues that we speak according to Your Word and not as a busybody. We receive the gospel and endeavor to live by it. Help us to show the love and respect we all deserve.  To be there for each other.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
