2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV
We are living in a time when great advances have been made in many areas of technology.
There are satellites that orbit the earth, making it possible to monitor the activities of any nation or person on earth.
We even have the ability to monitor what goes on in our homes.
We have “eyes in the skies” and “eyes in our homes”.
Both are good for spotting any suspicious actions, misbehaviors or the need for assistance.
Technology is good but is not always available.
That is why it is good to know that there is another “eye in the sky” that has been there since creation and available at all times.
Second Chronicles 16:9 tells us, “the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth”.
We can trust that He sees it all.
Let us not be foolish like Asa and lean on man to fulfill our needs. To watch out for us.
Remembering, the Lord loves, cares and sees all that we are doing, should be the motivation we need to trust Him, be patient, be obedient and live in a way that pleases Him.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, it should be a source of comfort to know that You see it all and care about us. Wanting to keep us from all hurt, harm and danger. We just need to follow Your lead, as You will never lead us in the wrong direction. You watch over us 24/7 with no downtime or malfunctions. We appreciate and love You Lord.
