Finding Glory In All Things

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.
2 Corinthians 11:30 KJV

In this passage the Apostle Paul is sending a message written to express his gratitude.

His attention to the knowledge and feelings that he encountered, all while still preaching the gospel.

Telling of his labors, cares, sufferings, dangers, and deliverances.  Not out of pride or vain-glory, but to the honor of God.

He knew it was God who enabled him to do and suffer so much for the cause of Christ.

How he gave Him glory even in all that he was going through.

To the point he was so good at what he was doing even the false apostles, who tried to lessen his character and usefulness, couldn’t outshine him.

We all encounter troubles and hardships.

Just like Paul, we must train ourselves to see the perils of life as opportunities to demonstrate our faithfulness to Christ.

We should be inspired when we look at all the apostle encountered but still exhibited patience, perseverance, diligence, cheerfulness, and usefulness.

Let us be true followers of Christ.

To be like Paul, giving God all the praise and glory for bringing us through.

Learning to think less of ourselves. Having patience, courage, and a firm trust in God.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, help us to see the obstacles we face as opportunities to grow in You. Where others May see them as problems, we know that You are using them so we will keep our eyes on Christ and hear You say “Well Done” some day. Thank You for helping us along life’s way.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
