A True Record

Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. John 8:14 KJV

No matter who or where we are, one’s judgment of what is important in life has a strong tendency to change.

Change brought on by the trends of society and the confusing things we hear.

Our parents would tell us of things they went through and how they trusted in the Lord and kept the faith.

There were even other friends and loved ones that could testify to how their faith in the Lord brought them through.

Just like the Pharisees did not believe Jesus when He was telling them from whence He had come, there will be those who don’t believe our testimony.

Our spoken testimony invites the Holy Ghost to help us bear witness to others of the truth,

That Jesus is real and of what He has done for us.

That He went through things, all in an effort to save and show us the way to a better life. Of how He brought us through many things.

If we really want to know the truth about God and all He can do for us, turn to Christ, He is the witness we can believe.

When we do, we can tell others of what He has done in our lives and declare to them that we know it to be true by the power of the Spirit.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, You are the Light of the world. Many do not see or believe from whence You have come, but we do.  Thank You for allowing us to know we can make it through anything if we keep our faith in You.  You were the sacrifice and we want to be the living testimony of the works You can perform in our lives. To bear witness as often as we can.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
