Jesus – Always the Greatest Source to Fulfill Your Life

Today’s Reading: John 6:32-38

Today’s Verse: “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35 KJV)

We all know what it means to be hungry. There is a desire to eat something.

Bread is one of the basic foods that supports life. It can make us feel full. It gives us some satisfaction. Every culture around the world has some form of bread.

Today’s scripture shows that Jesus is the ultimate source of spiritual nourishment. Jesus is the Bread of Heaven. God sent Him to give life to the world.

He provides nourishment to everyone who comes to Him. Satisfaction that goes beyond the intake of physical food.

“Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more” are words found in a gospel hymn. It is a song of prayer.

It is asking Jesus, the “Bread of Life” to satisfy the deep needs of our souls. To fulfill the thirst, we have for Him.

When we eat of this “Spiritual Bread” we accept Jesus as our Savior. We are telling the world that we believe in Him. That we have entered a promising relationship with Him. A spiritual satisfaction that never ends.

With understanding and earnestness, we should pray. Asing the Lord to give us this Bread.

He will always fill the voids in our lives. He always wants the best for us.

When we ask for His forgiveness, He will grant it. He will restore our relationship with Him. He will satisfy our hunger.

Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.

Let us continue to express our faith in Christ. He is the living bread given to redeem and restore.
