Today’s Reading: Psalms 19:1-6 / Psalms 136:1-9
Today’s Verse: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalms 19:1 KJV
Because of God’s truth, goodness, and beauty everything was brought to life.
Nothing would have existed if it had not been for Him.
How often do we take the time to enjoy the beauty to be seen all around us?
Nature is just one picture.
The sun is an emblem of the Sun of righteousness.
Jesus is the Bridegroom of the church, and the Light of the world.
Through the gospel, He will always show His Divine light.
The source of our salvation.
Every day it offers a new and fresh declaration of God’s glory.
All our lives are a picture of beauty. He has blessed each of us with a gift.
We each have a purpose, and it will always be for the good.
Every day we should be declaring our appreciation of God’s glory.
The Word tells us. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalms 19:1 KJV).
The heavens are always proclaiming His wisdom, power, and goodness.
If the heavens can do it, so can we.
None of us have an excuse for not giving Him the praise He deserves.
The Father delights in blessing His church.
He has welcomed us as one of His own.
His desires that the whole earth be filled with His light and salvation.
As His children, we should also want to see this happen.
Praying for a time when He shall enlighten, cheer, and make fruitful every nation on earth.
No matter the language, the Word would be spoken.
The universe would be filled with the blessing of salvation.
The saints would have no problem giving God the glory He deserves.
Acknowledging all the comfort and benefits we have by the lights of heaven.
Looking above and beyond them to the Sun of Righteousness.
The Father will always be the beauty behind all beauty.
May we all take a moment to show our thankfulness.
Giving praise for all He has done.
For all that He is doing in our lives.
For everything that is yet to come.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, as we go through our day, may we be reminded that You have placed beauty here as a reflection of Your character. Always worshipping You just because of who You are. And just like the heavens declares Your glory, we will continue to do the same. We are thankful for all that You are doing in our lives. For all of Your wonderful works. We give You praise.
