Our Amazing Savior – Always Spectacular in All His Ways

Read: Mark 10:23-31

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! Mark 10:24 KJV

To be amazed we are greatly surprised and filled with wonder.

It can be something seen or something spoken.

Both of which can lead to a multitude of blessings.

The Savior is always speaking to us.

He is always showing us the roads on which we should travel.

And just like the disciples we can be “astonished at [His Words] (Mark 10:24 KJV).

He is always showing us ways in which we can accomplish things.

There have been times when we wonder how we can do it.

How we should live and defeat the snares of the enemy.

Just like He spoke to the disciples, He has told us about how difficult it is for us to receive His salvation when we are focused on earthly wealth.

That this eagerness to seek wealth causes us to miss the abundant grace the Savior desires for our lives (Mark 10:24 KJV).

That is where faith has to be strong in our lives.

We read of many amazing things in the Bible.

In Mark 2 KJV, we read about the time Jesus cured a follower.

He was a man stricken with palsy.

How “immediately ]this man] arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion” (Mark 2:12 KJV).

How just being in His presence can bring amazement.

“And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him” (Mark 9:15 KJV).

How greatly surprised we can be when we experience the wisdom and knowledge He has.

“And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?” (Matthew 13:54 KJV).

Unfortunately, there will be some who are offended by the Lord’s teachings.

In their hearts, they will not receive what He is trying to tell them.

They turn away in unbelief.

But there will be others who are amazed and will be led to faith.

They will have a new life and worship Him.

Our amazement should never cease.

Let us continue to worship and praise our amazing Savior for all that He has done.

For all that He is doing in our lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we will always have a time of amazement. Daily seeing the wonderful works of Your hand. For the gift of Your Dear Son. From sin we were set free. No words can ever express how grateful we are. But will forever give praise unto Your name. We are thankful for all You are doing in our lives.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
