Today’s Reading: Romans 11:33-36
Today’s Verse: For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11:36 KJV
As the song says, this is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever” (Romans 11:36 KJV).
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the supreme givers of life to all mankind.
Each day we need to set aside some quiet time to reflect upon the divine gifts we receive.
They are gifts that forever changed the course of human destiny.
Thinking about how the Savior was the first of our never-ending blessings to come down from Heaven.
The Father’s gift of His Son to be the Savior of the world (1 John 4:14 KJV).
He came to ransom His life for many.
After His death and resurrection, He and the Father sent the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit lives inside every believer forever (Mark 10:45; John14:16,16:7 KJV).
The Holy Spirit then begins to give spiritual gifts to all believers.
He produces His marvelous fruit in our lives (1 Corinthians 12:7-11; Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).
These gifts do not end on earth.
They continue in Heaven when the Lord judges Christians.
When He grants us rewards for good works that we could never have accomplished apart from His strength (1 Corinthians 3:13-14; John 15:5 KJV).
We know all the credit and glory belongs to God.
But He so graciously showers praises on us, His followers (1 Corinthians 4:5 KJV).
We serve a caring and generous God.
Take the time think about the outpouring of blessings He constantly sends from His throne.
Considering the many gifts He has freely given us and our loved ones.
Asking ourselves, How will I respond today?
The Father needs nothing from us. He just wants every part of us.
Not to control us but to show “the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-7 KJV).
Joy always comes the more we reflect upon His love for us.
When we give Him praise for the blessings received and still yet to come.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You are the creator and sustainer of the universe. The Savior is One who came to earth in human form to save us. The Holy Spirit is the divine influence and power of God that guide and empowers us. The Divine Trinity. We know we should always take the time to think about all the gifts You have given. The gifts that are yet to come. You did not have to do it, but You did. We give You thanks for all that You are doing and will do in our lives. Giving thanks for how loving and caring You are. For of You, through You, and to You are all things: to whom be the glory forever.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
