Today’s Reading: Ephesians 2:1-10
Today’s Verse: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved). Ephesians 2:5 KJV
In today’s reading we find that a state of sin will always be seen because we conform to the things of this world.
That wicked men are slaves to Satan.
He is the author of that proud, carnal disposition which is seen in ungodly men.
Satan rules in the hearts of men.
The good news is that we only need to recognize that we already have our freedom.
The Savior had already defeated sin.
All who receive Him is a sinner that has been changed. They have been delivered from the guilt of sin.
They have been pardoned. They have become justified by His grace.
They become a living soul and lives a life of holiness.
When we give our lives to Christ, we can walk in victory.
Never forgetting that we did not do it on our own.
Ephesians teaches us that “by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:5, 8 KJV).
He is always blessing “us with all spiritual blessings” (Ephesians 1:3 KJV).
Gifts from the Father will always come to us when we believe in Jesus.
When we earnestly seek Him.
Salvation is ours for the asking.
We have been saved by grace.
Let us learn to take the time to enjoy the many blessings that come by His grace.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, nothing can describe the goodness You have shown us. How You desire to convert and save all who have sinned. All who have come short of Your glory. Thank You for Your mercy and the many blessings we receive. Praying that others come to know of the many blessings that come by Your grace. A grace that is undeserved, but so freely given.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
