Today’s Reading: Isaiah 32:9-20
Today’s Verse: And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isaiah 32:17 KJV
We all want to live a peaceful life. One of calmness. Free from worry or stress.
We want to have good relationships. To feel good about our circumstances. To find joy in the simple things of life.
Overall, we want to live a life that involves having activities and goals that bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
We want it both internally and externally.
Isaiah 32:17 KJV tells us that the effect of righteousness always brings peace. The result of righteousness brings quietness and trust.
The Spirit from on high will pour us out blessings for living and acting righteously.
Each of us can live a life of peace and tranquility.
We can have a lifetime guarantee of salvation and eternal life.
It will always come when we live a life in accordance with God’s will and purpose.
“[He] will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on [Him], because he trusts in [Him]” (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV).
We all want to live a good life. A quietness to our souls. To live in stability and peace.
It is ours when we stay rooted and grounded in the Word. When we keep our trust in God.
The Father wants us to have a life filled with peace and harmony.
We can have it if we want it. All we have to do is ask.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we thank You for Jesus. Our gift of righteousness. For allowing us to surrender every fear, stress, and doubt to You. Fill our hearts with Your peace. Quiet our spirits. Give us the confidence we need to survive in life. We choose to walk in the fullness of righteousness. Resting in Your perfect peace, quietness, and assurance. We know with Christ in our lives; all things are possible. Thank You for always being there for us.
