Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:34 KJV
There is no one on this earth that can say they have not worried about what tomorrow may bring.
We are always thinking about all the things we need to do.
Yes, we all have our agendas, but it does us no good to focus on tomorrow and not complete the things we have for today.
God has a plan for each of our lives.
The Father does not want us to be anxious about what our future may bring, about how we will live next year, how we will feel when we are old or what we might leave behind.
He has told us, “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” (Matthew 6:34 MSG).
We are to take one step at a time and live day by day.
To cast all our cares upon Him; for He cares about us (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).
It has always been His will and command for us to come to Him in prayer to gain the strength we need to manage our daily troubles.
Knowing He will arm us against any temptations we may face.
Making it where we can stand fast and watch Him lead us through all our stresses.
Do not worry about tomorrow.
Live today because of His undying grace.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You are always there to lead and guide us on how to do things. May we no longer worry about the things of tomorrow and live for today. We know we will be much happier when we put our trust in You. You are wise in everything concerning our lives. Thank You for the Divine guidance we receive from You.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
